Most conversations about AI and work jump straight to the scary version — mass unemployment, robots replacing everyone. That framing misses what's actually happening, which is more specific and more useful to understand.
AI isn't replacing workers wholesale. It's collapsing the entry-level rung of almost every knowledge-based career. The research, the drafting, the basic analysis, the first version of things — that work is disappearing faster than the jobs above it are being restructured. The people who understand this early enough to reposition themselves are in a very different situation than the people waiting for a clear announcement that the rules changed.
The technology isn't the threat. Not understanding it is.
This is one of the central topics in Pathfinders: Navigating the System Reset — not to alarm, but to map the terrain honestly so you can actually navigate it.
Welcome to the territory. Let's figure out where we're going.
